Logistic efficiency is one of the aspects of good planning skills. In addition to the procurement of raw materials and production process, Scandolara plans and supervises the procurement of packaging and the shipment flow.

The layout of the plant in Ascoli Piceno previews two separate production sites, dedicated to the production of aluminium and plastic tubes.
Each area has its own warehouse dedicate to the raw materials, semi-finished and finished products.

The caps – partially produced in a dedicated injection moulding department inside the production site – and the shipping packaging are stored in the central warehouse, with shelves up to 12 meters with trilateral and wire-guided trolleys, which feeds both production lines.

The finished products, aluminium or plastic tubes, are finally stored in an area with ground and shelves positions.

From a logistic point of view, Scandolara is structured to guarantee maximum punctuality and flexibility.
The strong point of the organization is in fact the ability to always respond to customer needs, also interfacing with production: from the management of weekly shipping plans (call off), to the fulfilment of orders in emergency situations (out of stock).

The transport in Italy and for Export is carried out by 4 qualified partners, experienced in transportation and movement of fragile materials. The average lead time on national territory is of 24 hours.
